Holiday Fun - December 2010

Abby loved decorating gingerbread cookies. She has a good eye and was happy and proud to give them to her teachers at school.

This Christmas Abby tried her hand at baking. We found this neat little recipe for what we call pretzel cookies. She had so much fun being the cook and was so very careful to get the m& m's in the very center of the kiss. SO cute, can you see how proud she is.

She loves the Christmas tree. This is the first year that she really knew what was going on and really got in to the spirit of Christmas. She also loved delivering cookies to neighbors and making popcorn garland and ornaments for the tree. I love seeing the world through her eyes!

Wow, she has gotten so big. She is such a pretty girl! Is it just the lighting, or is her hair going more towards blonde?

Melanie, So fun to see how Abby has grown. It happens so fast. Glad to hear things are good for you. Hopefully you'll get to see more of your family now that you're on the East Coast. I miss you my Sister!

She's so grown up! I can't believe it's nearly a year since we saw y'all last. Glad you're updating the blog, maybe I'll try the same with ours? What is she using to decorate the gingerbread cookie? It looks like a glue bottle, but for frosting?

Yolanda - I think it is a little bit of the light. Her hair is lighter than mine.

Janet - Miss you too...I hope to get more time with family too since Andrew is going to be out to sea a lot. The babies do grow tooo fast. So good to hear from you.

Angie - It looks like glue eh!! You are correct....it is frosting in a glue like bottle...it was a bit runny the stuff you make yourself worked better but was a little hard to get out, so the bottle worked great for Abby.

Hope I can keep up with the blogging. So good to hear from everyone.
